Malabea is known as the spot that has multi overhanging at Wakatobi. Malabea site take its name by the name of its area (Lentea Island). Malabea has unique topography which all the way of the spot covered by overhanging. start by Barrier Coral, Reef wall, slope wall, shallow garden, overhanging.

Access :

Dive site located at Lentea Island. Takes (45-60 minutes ) from Waha Harbour by local boat.

Coral Reef State :

Good variety of the soft/hard coral, various of gorgonians, black coral, barrel sponges, healthy staghorn coral, coral boomies, whip corals, various of sea fan and much more healthy coral with various colors.

Fish Species :

Octopus, crab, damselfish, triggerfish, puffer fish, scorpion fish, yellow trumpetfish, yellow and red anthias, fusilier fish, parrot fish, clown fish, banded sea snake, blue spotted ray, crocodile fish, group of bat fish, green/hawks bill turtle, schooling of black snapper fish, bluefin trevally, tuna (passing by), napoleon (*lucky), cuttle fish, emperor fish, blue spotted rays, eagle ray (passing by), black tip shark/white tip (passing by). There are more species of fish that you can find in this spot, specially also for the muck lover, there more small stuff here like nudibranch, sea slug, flat worm, shrimp, orang utan crab, ribbon eel and other small creatures in this spot.

Visibility :

25-40m. Wakatobi is known as the best clear water.

Note :

Due to the distance of the location dive schedule is considered. We recommended divers to come on schedule.
